D Cut
D-Cut: refers specifically to the handle style punched into the top of a bag. It is a D- shaped hole die-cut through a reinforced header or the body of the film itself. Structurally, the area around the cut is often heat-sealed or thickened to ensure the handle doesn't tear under the weight of the contents. This is a common feature for larger gusseted bags or heavy-duty retail pouches where portability is a key requirement for the consumer.
